Nourishing the soul of an Architect

Whenever we see ourselves working in an architecture firm as an end for our means of living, like paying bills and mortgage, we run the risk of making ourselves irrelevant to the core purpose of architecture. We practice architecture and have chosen to be in this field of design with an acceptance that we would rise above the ideals of profits and pursue the best solution for our clients,ultmately give our best to the built environment. It is quite widely known that our profession does not make millionares or is not the shortest route to retirement. But definately one would agree that our profession does have many heroes who are know across by people. The information technolgy industry does not even come close to providing the same kind of heroes, and on the contrary the heroes of the IT industry have their a larger share of critics and hate-clubs. Bill Gates might be known as the richest person in the IT world but he has many ho has uncouth indignation for his means to richness.
